A 19 year old Glenrowanwoman was killed, and two male teenagers injured when their vehicle left the road on a sweeping right-hand bend and hit trees in the King Valley last night.

Jessica Campbell died at the scene, while Dylan Bergamin - the 18 year old son of missing Wangaratta woman Kath Bergamin - and a 17 year old male from Wangaratta, were both injured.

The exact circumstances of the crash are still being investigated by members of the Major Collision Investigation Unit, who arrived at the scene from Melbourne late last night.

However, police have said they believe Ms Campbell was a front seat passenger.

Detective Senior Sergeant Lindsay Cummins of Wangaratta police this morning said it appears the late model Holden Commodore left the Upper King River Road, about 3.5km south west of Cheshunt, travelling towards Lake William Hovell, between 6.30pm and 6.45pm.
