Do It Yourself Beaded Stitch Markers

Pay $3.00 apiece for beaded knitting markers?  Not I! And not you either, if you follow these few simple steps.  You can make your own for much less, even little-to-no-money if you already have a few things on hand.

MATERIALS:

beads

memory wire

Needlenose pliars

regular pliers

DIRECTIONS:

1) Cut a ring of memory wire.

2) Crimp one end by folding it in on itself and squeezing with the pliars.

3) Decorate with beads

4) crimp other end of wire

Really just split rings

In Fabric

Pretty Pretty (and handy, too!)

These were made by stringing beads onto beading wire and then attaching a crimp bead onto the end. I knit a little carrying bag for them.
