The ailing global economy has not failed to affect professional soccer. Although clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool continue to make millions and spend money like water, smaller clubs are feeling the pinch. One such ailing club, Darlington, who play in the English League Two, were forced to go into administration in January, the British equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
