England, as a nation are soccer crazy, to put it mildly. But England’s women players find it hard to get any respect when the Ronaldo, Rooney and all the boys grab the headlines all day, every day, even when the season is over. The English media is obsessed with male soccer stars, whether they are in soccer jerseys or down at the supermarket.  That is a shame, especially as there are a great number of truly talented English women wearing soccer jerseys and playing their hearts out all season long too.
