Kucinich Introduces Resolution to Strengthen Economy and Protect National Security
Resolution calls for Coordinated Manufacturing Policy to Protect Core Industries

Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Congresswoman Candice Miller (R-MI), Congressman Steven LaTourette (R-OH) and Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH) today introduced H. Res. 444 that would build support for a national industrial manufacturing policy that would strengthen the steel, automotive, aerospace and shipping industries because of their irreplaceable contribution to America’s economy and national security.
“No major economy can remain strong without a strong manufacturing sector, and no major power can remain secure without the ability to manufacture durable goods. It is time that the United States enacted a coordinated a federal policy to rebuild the manufacturing sector of America,” added Kucinich
