Win32 Virus sent as an ECARD! Beware.

You think you are getting a fun and friendly ecard from someone you know but when you open it…. BAM you’ve been infected. Yes, it’s been a trick of virus promoters for some time and virus protection software has gotten pretty good at detecting it but spammers and hackers are always trying new things. Instead of sending the virus as an attachment or an embedded link they are doing  it now as plain text which isn’t filtered out. Most web-based email readers convert this plain text to a link on the client side.
