The holiday musical "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" will reopen at the St. James Theatre on W.44th St. at 11 a.m.
Producers of the show successfully sued the theater's owners to force them to resume the production amid the ongoing Broadway stagehands strike that has shut down more than two dozen plays and musicals.
Diane Syx, 59, of Birmingham, Ala., who is visiting the city with her son, daughter and her daughter's fiancé, bought four tickets Thursday.
"We really wanted to see 'Spamalot.' We had tickets," she said. "We were passing by and looking for something to do - and this show was also on our list. We're excited."
Ten more performances of "The Grinch" will take place through the weekend. The show is scheduled to run until Jan. 6, but lawyers for the Jujamcyn Theaters have filed an appeal and could put the show in jeopardy again.
