I have upgraded from Windows XP Professional to Windows Vista Ultimate. When I had Windows XP I did a few tweaks to it to increase the system performance by adjusting a few registry values in Hkey Currect User<Control Panel<Desktop. The values I adjusted were menushowdelay, I set that from 400 to 1. I adjusted waittokillapptimeout from 20000 to 2000. Lastly I adjusted Autoendtasks from 0 to 1. All 3 tweaks were very useful and increased performance on my computer.
