Try this

SELECT substring(@charValue, patindex('%[a-Z,1-9]%',@charValue), len(@charValue) - patindex('%[a-Z,1-9]%',@charValue) + 1)

Or without the comma

SELECT substring(@charValue, patindex('%[a-Z1-9]%',@charValue), len(@charValue) - patindex('%[a-Z1-9]%',@charValue) + 1)
