The Oklahoman newspaper's online website is reporting that Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) said that


President Barack Obama's speech in Cairo was "un-American" because he referred to the war in Iraq as "a war of choice" and didn't criticize Iran for developing a nuclear program.


He left out Obama's admission that the US engineered a coup against Iran's elected government in 1953 (at the behest of Winston Churchill, who wanted to keep control of Iranian oil), a coup which led, eventually, to the Iranian revolution.


Inhofe also objected to Obama saying that we had tortured detainees at Guantanamo:


"There has never been a documented case of torture at Guantanamo."


Inhofe obviously didn't read the FBI report documenting exactly that (report analyzed here). (The Red Cross report documented torture of detainees prior to their arrival at Guantanamo.)
