Egyptian Art was once considered to be unchanged, when viewing this art as a whole. Egyptian Art seems to be repetitive pattern of images and ideas. Egyptian art was revived in the early twentieth century as a result of global and local encounters. Contact with the west coincided with massive archaeological discoveries. Egyptian art was standardized. Not only were certain figures always the same number of squares tall and wide, but the there was a formula for the way to draw figures.
