WANGARATTA residents are being asked to come up with practical, local ideas on how to help the embattled environment.
They will get the opportunity to contribute over three separate sessions under a Sustainable Daily Life project being run jointly between the city council and The Centre.
Robin Laurie, the artistic director for the council’s Generations Project, said that climate change was increasingly concerning people at a local level.
"There are many people out there who would like to make some changes around the home to assist our environment, but are not sure where to start.
"They may be considering installing a grey water system or solar power, or even wasting less food, but they are not sure how much it costs and how to go about it.
"By having these public sessions, we hope we can encourage people to come along and put up their ideas, but also answer some of the questions and concerns," she said.
