A new trend that I have noticed popping up is the use of a coop to pool advertising dollars. This makes sense because by spreading your ads around. and having lots of them, you have a better chance of someone clicking on them.

An other benefit to this is building brand awareness. Even if the ad is not clicked on the fist time someone sees it, after they've seen it a few times in different places they become curious to find out more.
