  • Video: Boozy T-shirts Get Students Tanked

  • Just about every senior high school class tries to push the limit, but students from Stevenson High School in Livonia, Mich., are accused of going too far.

The controversy is over a T-shirt that read, "Puschin' It To The Limit" and on the back it reads, "Class of .08 Seniors," Detroit station WDIV reported.

The first is a play on Busch beer and the second refers to Michigan's blood-alcohol limit for drivers.

School officials said 45 seniors were suspended for wearing the shirt, which was designed by one of their classmates.

A school district spokesperson said students must learn choices have consequences, especially since they were already warned twice in writing.

"With prom and graduation also come concerns with parents, I know as a parent myself and from staff that students make safe choices especially when it comes to drinking," said Donna McDowell of Livonia Public Schools.

Some believe the T-shirt sends the wrong message
