It's so simple, and yet I can't tear my eyes away: splasho.com has a two-tiered conveyor belt showing in something like real time how many people are coming into the world and how many are leaving it. There's not really nuch interaction to be done, unless you want to flip the point-of-origin switch on and off, but you just... can't... stop... watching. Not least because after a while, you end up with two overwhelming questions:

1. How is it that the cartoon babies, whatever their nation of origin, are all white?
2. Ice cream?
