I have decided that, because Netscape.com is reverting back to what it once was, I am going to start using Digg.  Netscape claims it is just moving the social news site but the reason I am going to Digg is because I have a feeling the next step after moving the site will most likely be a complete shutdown of it altogether.  Netscape is what started me on social news even though Digg invented it and Netscape was just a clone.  I will miss Netscape, but I look forward to seeing what Digg has to offer.  I have found a wonderful Firefox extension that allows me to submit stories just as easily as I have been with the Netscape bookmarklet.  The extension is called “Digg This!”.  I have also noticed that Digg has pretty much the same features.  The only thing I will miss is the way Netscape categorized the news.  Digg is a little different and will take some getting used to.  If anyone reading this is considering the switch to Digg, rest assured that Digg is very comparable to Netscape.
